Why do we like this?
The Redlands, Californian born rapper/singer Connor Evans has been gaining ground on the minds and ears of the millennials. His latest EP, Green Light Life, is a compendium of five tracks that reflect on his childhood upbringings and his thirst for society to reevaluate their values.

Evans has inspired a movement amongst the youthful listener. His EP boasts the title of his mantra and movement, encouraging any willing listener to continuously seek for positive growth and tirelessly dedicate themselves to their passions. Connor defines his mantra in an interview,

"#GreenLightLife means constant motion toward what matters most in your life and not letting anything slow your pace. I want to surround myself with individuals that collectively strive for the utmost of their human potential. I envision a world where daily routine includes a meaningful collaboration minds that serves to elevate all of those involved, and #GreenLightLife is my way of uniting those people."

The upbeat and soulful track "Coastin'" is the first track on the EP, which definitely sets the tone for the other four songs. I'm a sucker for a song that features a sample in their intro; it's usually the perfect setup to an awesome sonic storm, which is the case with Connor Evan's "Coastin'."

But whether you enjoy the song or not, Evan's refreshing mindset should be appreciated and indulged.
