Why do we like this?
This "Um Amor a Mais" remix is like a multicultural house explosion. Chris Franck and Patrick Forge, who make up the Brazilian based Da Lata, have been pumping out Afro-Brazilian beats for the past 20 years, and while that's impressive, this remix by Prophets of the South couldn't be a perfect compliment to that style.
Prophets of the South, aka Esa Williams and Ali Heron, are a production duo from Glasgow via Cape Town, South Africa and in this remix of "Um Amore a Mais" they've perfectly infused that Afro-beat with Brazilian house.
Though we're heading into fall and this track feels a lot like an Ibiza carry-over from summer, I think the most important point is that it's keeping the party going.
