Dead Ghosts Drugstore Supplies

Dead Ghosts is a rock n’ roll garage band out of Vancouver, British Columbia who have nailed the beachy, surfer, psychedelic rock vibe. This group of 5 came out of a desire to hang out, listen to records, and play music. Bryan Nicol of the group is quoted saying,

“We got really lucky. When we started playing, we were just messing with recording and generally goofing around. We had no vision at all. We maybe wanted to play house parties or something – that was the limit of our aspirations.”

They’ve since grown into what they are today, yet their music exudes that same friendship, fun, and light-heartedness from their beginning.

I’m loving this new album,Automatic Changer, which is dripping in lo-fi, fuzzy, retro, and '60s influences. I discovered it driving home from work on a hot day with the windows down, and that is truly the perfect scene for it. Their music begs desperately to be listened to on sunny days, driving with the windows down. Definitely the wind-in-your-face tunes to unwind to.
