Why do we like this?
Haven't heard of Debian Blak before? That's okay. You'll be bumping into his music everywhere soon enough. The Leeds-based producer recently made the wise choice to rework some classic Aaliyah tracks, which, when done right, are great for all sorts of random playlists and occasions.

This particular Aaliyah edit hits home with my cool hip-hop side and my awkward UK dancer side. "Chemistry" is a great play on "One in a Million," with Aaliyah's vocals at the forefront and Debian's mesmerizing production bringing it all home. Dude recently signed with Audio Doughnuts and will soon release his Six Months From Mars EP.
