Denny White Sweetness

Denny White, who makes up half of the indie pop duo Golden Coast, is marking the start of a new era as a singer and songwriter with his new track "Sweetness."

Exhibiting a penchant for cinematic pageantry, "Sweetness" is bluesy, swooning, and delicate without sacrificing the required earnestness for a debut; it's understated spectacle that perfectly complements White's tender vocals.

And while the structure, specifically the use of percussion, could very well draw comparisons to other popular musicians in the current pantheon of pop (Lorde comes to mind), there's a sense of restraint which alludes to sincerity, maturity, and something deeper waiting to bubble to the surface.
