Why do we like this?

The last time I heard about Devendra Banhart was in the context of Natalie Portman (the two dated for a while). So it's incredibly refreshing to hear new music coming out of his camp, especially with such an upbeat, catchy feel.

How long has it been, exactly? Well his last album What Will Be was released all the way back in 2009. The four-year gap isn't entirely unusual, until you consider that leading up to 2009, he was releasing albums at a steady two-year pace.

On Tuesday, he announced that he'll be releasing a new album Mala on March 12th, accompanied by this new song "Für Hildegard von Bingen." I don't know about you, but I'm digging it super hard.
