Why do we like this?

Rapper Dez reps the San Fernando Valley north of Los Angeles. Location aside, Dez fits nicely in the puzzle being pieced together by West Coast hip-hop artists like Kendrick, Blu, and Vince Staples.

"Noose," which is available on SoundCloud and iTunes, emerged in May around the same time Dez hit 1k SoundCloud followers. He's currently sitting at 1.5k followers, which goes to show Dez's thoughtfully raw style has plenty of ears still left to reach.
