The #1 thing that stood out to me about this song is the '70s-inspired opening guitars that lay out the entire track, but the instrumental is heavily modern sounding. It's a dichotomy that collides, and I really dig the uniqueness of it.
Also, this song is too short. A minute and thirty seconds? What do I look like to you? Someone addicted to my phone with an attention span of 2 seconds? Ouch. That hit deep.
I've been listening to this song on repeat. It's a breath of fresh air from the usual, over saturated, bass-heavy instrumentals. This one is off his latest release, an EP titled Mystic Drive-Thru. Give it a listen on his Soundcloud below. Cheers, xoxo.
