Why do we like this?

Londoner A.G. Cook is at the center of the innovative PC Music label, who is causing quite a stir at the moment.

With support already coming from the likes of Jacques Greene and Deadboy, the label offers an interesting take on electronic pop.

Taking cues from J-Pop and the trend of 'kawaii' meaning 'cute,' Cook and his labelmates make an unashamedly, exuberantly happy style of electronic music, with cues also taken from the likes of Hudson Mohawke and Sophie.  

Like a lot of their releases, this remix is available for free over at PC Music's SoundCloud, which is highly worth checking out. For more on the burgeoning importance of kawaii in Western music, check out this really interesting piece by Adam Harper.
