Melbourne musician Nic Lam has been a "man behind the scenes" for a number of popular Australian acts over the years (Owl Eyes, Lisa Mitchell, I'lls), but has set off on his own recently. His DXHeaven project kicked into overdrive last month with the release of his latest single "These Lights," and he just debuted a second track last week.
"All The Time" is a much more downtempo offering from Lam, which focuses on his sparkling, slightly auto-tuned vocals. Hovering above a bed of smooth production and slinky synths, Lam is able to excel as a songwriter in his own right after all the time he's supported others.
DXHeaven's debut EP Aftertouch is due out on November 5.
