Why do we like this?
If you're looking for some new danceable indie pop, then I have a treat for you from Belfast up-and-comers Ed Zealous.

With no record label  to speak of and having released only a handful of tracks care of their Bandcamp page, Ed Zealous might not be a name you're familiar with. But all of that is about to change with their newest track "Diamonds For Eyes."

Funky bass line? Check. Warped-out synthesizers that sound straight off of an NES? Check. Catchy, pop-inspired vocals? Triple check. "Diamonds For Eyes" is definitely a track you'll find yourself hitting repeat on over and over, with all it's different components seamlessly coming together in three minutes and 34 seconds of pure fun.  It's what pop music should be all about: a good time with a healthy dose of quality musical influences.

Keep an eye out for Ed Zealous, and hold on to your iTunes gift cards from Christmas so you can pick up "Diamonds For Eyes" when it becomes available for download on January 20, 2014.
