Why do we like this?

Elephant Stone's "Andromeda" didn't jump out and hook me immediately. It starts as a pretty average psych pop track with a solid melody and perfectly acceptable singing.

And then the tablas came to the forefront. I can't say I've heard many artists other than The Beatles do that, and these guys pull it off perfectly. It really sells the package for me.

It's been ages since we last picked up on the band (late 2013), but if you're curious you can see how their sound has evolved by following this link.
