Why do we like this?

We first received an introduction to Swedish artist Elias in late 2015 with the brooding and soulful "Green Eyes." In preparation for his upcoming fall 2016 album, he's released a double-sided single including tracks "Down N Out" and "Makin Me Happy."

On this release, he continues to captivate with thick, rich vocals that ripple atop twinkling pianos and electronic production. His simple yet poignant lyricism is accentuated by brass instrumentation and electric guitars.

Elias's music includes an expansive array of genres including electro, R&B, and neo-soul just to name a few. His distinct, trembling vibrato has a visceral quality to it that is sure to move you.
