Why do we like this?

LA-based artist Evalyn continues the love affair with her adoptive city on latest single "Angels."

An ode to the City of Angels, this piano-led orchestral pop release is another euphoric blend of dreamy soundscapes and Evayln's yearning vocals. 

There's a lot going on with this one; rhythmic percussion, gospel handclaps, and striking synths that all come together in a fusion of soaring indie pop which make you want to pack your bags and try your luck in the big city. Evalyn had this to say about the collaboration with producer Nicopop:

This one made us laugh and cry about how much we dig this city, how it always breaks us down and builds us back up again. It's pure magic here and we both worship it. Our influences on this one stemmed from songs we fell in love with while stuck in traffic on the 10.

"Angels" is also the first single from Evalyn's forthcoming EP, Salvation, set for release later this year.
