Why do we like this?

I have quite a lovely premiere from rising producer Falcon Punch. Working off a few original tracks released in 2014, Avery Henderson is starting off the year with a more than solid track today.

Uplifting, layered wind instruments are the clear hallmark of this horizontal single. "Donald's Bird" puts a smile on your face whether you want it there or not, continually escalating into a spiral of dreamy synths and chill bass. The guitar is delicate, and high-octave piano intermittently strikes, overt and suave. Converse to their words, which invoke personal introspection, the lyrics are soulful and whimsical.  

This single is well arranged and produced, making me very excited to see what the rest of this year will bring from Henderson. For more this talent, check out Falcon Punch's SoundCloud.
