Fictonian is Glen Roberts and his debut album Desire Lines is set for a mid-November release. Glen is already selling out shows in London and has been slowly giving us a taste of his beautiful and humanizing songwriting and musical style. More than a couple of his tracks have already been featured on Indie Shuffle.
Today, I’m highlighting this recently released video of "Little Blue Book." Glen self-directed it while harassing the videography talents of a friend, and another friend’s daughter played the starring role of a young girl outside exploring her surroundings.
It seems Glen is at home in the wide open spaces, like what’s featured in the video — he ditched the hotbed of London and found creative inspiration in the rural landscape well outside the bustle of the big city. I like to think he’s captured that idyllic backdrop in this song and the video he helped create for it.
