So, FIDLAR came to Detroit last night. If I wasn't so hung over from the previous night, I totally would have gone. Life's been one big giant party lately. Okay, no, not really. Not how you're thinking, anyway.
Take this song "Awkward" for instance. FIDLAR brings the party with this sun-drenched, garage rock tune. It sounds like a hell of a good time, until you listen to the lyrics, "I didn't know I'm really good at making you feel awkward." We find that we're not romping around to the thrills of life, but to its pitfalls.
That's been the theme of my partying as of late -- one big awkward mishap after another. Yet I continue to go out in an attempt to redeem the previous night of awkwardness, but inevitably I run into more and more awkwardness. I'm on awkward overload, and if it doesn't dissipate soon I may just have a completely awkward meltdown in a very public way... oh wait... that already happened. Shit. Guess I'll just have to redeem myself tonight. TGIF. Party on.
