Why do we like this?
Britain's Florence + The Machine delights fans song after song with their special two-disc edition Lungs. We've had some time to listen to it, and the brand new tracks, along with live recordings and remixes of tracks from their debut album, are truly delightful.

"Dog Days are Over," remixed by Yeasayer, adds a subtle darkness to an already overwhelming ode to love, reminding us that sometimes it can cause more pain than its worth. "Hurricane Drunk" sucks you into its vortex with its sweet melodies and poetic lyrics exposing the ache and acceptance of losing your love to someone else and facing it head on.

A particular highlight of the album is the collaboration with Dizzee Rascal, "You Got the Dirtee Love," which serves as an antidote to her party tune "You've Got the Love" and proves that Florence is not just for the ladies to enjoy.

In the studio, on stage, and on this record, Florence is unconstrained, expressive and wonderfully weird. Her music is fresh, arresting and accessible - and the combination makes her one of pop's most compelling voices today. Overall, this album is a nonstop joyride for music fans that adore Florence's gorgeous heavy-hitting vocals, paired with some musical surprises that are sure to keep the listener interested from start to finish.
