Ever wondered what dream pop sounds like in Thai? Well, the answer is magnificent.
The Folk9 quartet is based in Bangkok, Thailand, and this is their video for "Plant," released in November 2019. This band sings in both Thai and English, but they are cool in every language. "Plant" is from their latest album Chinese Banquet, which came out at the end of 2018 under the label Parinam Music. If you have the chance, you should listen to it. It’s quite a treat.
The video follows the band around Taiwan while they hang out, take pictures, act silly and play some gigs. The footage was taken from their 2019 Taipei Tour. The song is as fun and laid back as the band seems in the video. So, enjoy this amusing video and its equally delightful song.
