Why do we like this?

"Hometown" is the pulsating latest taken from French 79's forthcoming Joshua album.

The alias of Marseille-based Simon Henner, French 79 has been releasing electronic goodness for a number of years. This latest single is a buoyant synth production with hints of '80s dance and French electronic culture.

There's a real movie feel to this one, with French 79 conjuring up a dark electronic soundtrack similar to that of the film Drive.

Joshua is set for release November 8.
