Why do we like this?

Sometimes it only takes one listen to fall in love with a song, and this is a great example.

The newest offering from prolific Nashville singer-songwriter German Error Message (Paul Kintzing to his mum), "What Do You Want" is delicate, honest, and powerful, taking cues from obvious inspirations such as Mount Eerie but never sounding derivative. The production is subtle and warm, complementing Kintzing's raw vocals with intricate guitar lines and grand, swelling drum patterns that have become his trademark over time. 

"What Do You Want" is the lead single from German Error Message's new album Haunts, out now digitally and on limited edition cassette through Furious Hooves.
