Cait Fairbanks has already made her mark in the acting world with her performance in The Young And The Restless, and now the prodigious talent is getting into the music business under the alias Ginesse.
"bedford" is the first single from Ginesse, a Robyn-esque breakup song with orchestral touches and a hypnotic bass line. It's a beautifully melancholy tune demonstrating Ginesse's warm vocals. Speaking on the track with NYLON Ginesse said:
While living in New York, I collected so many moments with this particular person, especially in Brooklyn which inspired the title. It's about how you can rewrite the movie in your head and forget the reality of why it even ended. The 'it wasn't that bad' stage of grieving. The 'am I actually missing them or am I just lonely?' stage.
It's a terrific debut and highlights Ginesse as one to watch in 2019.
