Why do we like this?

Atlanta-based, multi-instrumentalist, Grandma, has been turning heads this year with several genre-bending singles, with his latest, "Bested," a must-listen.

Taking inspiration from a wide range of sounds and collaborators, Grandma pushes the envelope of experimentation with the hypnotic "Bested." This is two minutes of mind-altering, indie-pop drawing from '80s era post-punk, Atlanta trap and modern synth-pop. It's a delightful concoction of influences displaying Grandma's unique talents.

It's hard to pigeon hole Grandma as a certain type of music or genre, except to say he's making incredible tunes that leave you wanting more.
