GRiZ is, dare I say, a grizzled vet in the world of electronic dance music. For years now this guy has been elevating audiences with his delightful future funk stylings that always seem to possess a certain unstoppable groove.
His latest tune “Before I Go,” featuring feeling-filled vocals from Leo Napier, showcases the same outstanding energy we’ve come to love from GRiZ.
The track opens with some subtle chords that eventually coalesce behind a stylish saxophone solo to let you know something big is on it’s way. Percussion and horns build until the tune breaks into fantastic funk interludes sprinkled with Napiers’ soulful vocals.
