There's no doubt that Brame & Hamo are one of, if not my favorite, artist duos.
As of late, I've been spending a lot of time researching them, trying to dissect where Brame ends and Hamo begins. It's difficult, to say the least, and that's probably why they make such a great production unit.
At any rate, I was diving into some former releases and got stuck on this one from Hamo - because, as you may already know, they do do separate releases from time to time. I know, total geek fest over here, but I have a reason. I'm working on an interview with them and I like to dig until I feel I've touched the essence. Not sure I'm there yet, but "Cotton Club" certainly has an essence du Hamo tone to it - house so cushy and smooth you could curl up inside of it.
