Why do we like this?

With a taste for the theatrical,singer-songwriter Heiðrik would like to take you for a ride in the musical landscape he has created on his single, "Maria's Donkey."

Featuring an orchestra of carefully arranged strings and timpani, Heiðrik is doing much more than simply producing a track.  With all of its elements, "Maria's Donkey" showcases a young composer ready to share all that is going on in his head. His tale is weaved together with classical elements paired with Heiðrik's compelling folk-tinged voice.

Drawing inspiration from his home in the Faröer Islands (located somewhere in between Scotland and Iceland), Heiðrik has created a world akin to Middle Earth, where beauty and harshness come together as the perfect place to feature the dynamics of the human spirit as he transports the listener. 

"Maria's Donkey" will be available for purchase come July 14 with hopefully even more new material to follow.
