Why do we like this?
There's not much information concerning South African quintet H O N E Y M O A N.A recent interview let it be known they formed last year and have yet to play live, while their SoundCloud lists them as a "5-piece amalgamation of rock, pop, shoegaze, funk, R&B and more from Cape Town, South Africa." After listening to first single "We" I understand the varied influences.
"We" is a fantastic indie pop tune with a jagged guitar riff, gorgeous female vocals, twinkling ivories and an all round funky feel. The track forms part of a double single with, "</3," a distorted rock trackthat's much more in your face.
You can listen to both tracks here.
