Why do we like this?

The sun’s slowly coming out, and there’s a new Hugh EP on the way. I must say this is starting to look like a good summer.

Hugh’s a London-based electro-pop outfit featuring Andy Highmore, Joshua Idehen, and Izzy Brooks. A group born of friendship, they make left-field electronic music sounding somewhat like alternative R&B. I must admit, I'm a fanboy. How can you not love the cheerful chants regaling melancholic musings? Think Blood Orange, but with a bit of backbone.
