Why do we like this?

Human Barbie is Los Angeles-based project from songwriter Christopher Leopold. Formed in 2018, they've released a total of three singles. "We Disappeared" gives us a peek inside the upcoming, debut release, Get a Life.

The first thing I noticed immediately about this track was the combination of several elements utilized by the Beatles at their psychedelic turn, including heavy reverberation on vocals, what sounds like the incorporation of a harpsichord or clavichord, and the track was recorded on 1/2" analog tape to add to the nostalgic feel.

Evoking the same feeling of warmth created from a day of sunshine, "We Disappeared" carries a wistfulness that has you yearning for a road trip in the '60s. A song that'll have you daydreaming as you listen. Enjoy xx.
