I haven't been into that sort of sad Daughter-vibe of music for quite some time now, but somehow Austrian duo HVOB managed to catch me with their new single "2nd World."
The song is undeniably sad, which means it probably won't end up in my frequent rotation (I try to keep things positive and stuff). That said, it's worth a listen for the moody atmosphere it successfully crafts around a slow progression and haunting vocals. All gives way to a lovely drum entrance as the 4-minute mark approaches.
The duo's 4th studio album called ROCCO will be out soon.
