Why do we like this?

I wrote about Iska Dhaaf's Invisible Cities a few months ago. The first taste of their sophomore album, The Wanting Creature, the track is a wonderfully dark, introspective creation that lures you in before you even realize it.

Iska Dhaaf has since released a gloriously dark visual accompaniment to the audio.

Directed and edited by Daniel Kaufman, the video explores the dying moments of four individuals and their interactions with a mysterious and intriguing incarnation of death, played by model Franceleslia Millien. Shot in the heart of NYC, where the pair are currently based, it perfectly captures the beautiful frenetic energy of the city.

The video is glorious, dark, and will leave your spine tingling -- yet, you will watch it over and over again.

The band is currently touring North America -- check their Facebook page out to see if they're in your city, and stay tuned for the album release on May 20. You can also pre-order it here.
