Why do we like this?

It’s been a good minute since Jai Paul has released any new tracks. Word on music street is that he’s currently in the studio with Miguel (basically a match made in music heaven), and while we all eagerly anticipate his long-awaited album release, the hunger grows.

In order to appease our musical appetite, BenZel has treated fans to a downtempo, chopped-up rework of Jai’s 2013 dance track “Str8 Outta Mumbai,” and trust us, it’s been worth the wait.

Equipped with minimal electronics and spacious soundscapes, this production duo exhales a slowed-down ease into the track while still managing to maintain the power and brilliance of the original.
