Bullion teams up with the BBC's Sound of 2012's up-and-coming star Jamie N Commons to direct and produce a moody black and white video for his latest single "Devil In Me."
This track is a smoke-filled depiction of soulful pop with a dingy, religious backdrop. James Willis and Ben Murray direct the singer as a man who is having a devilish encounter with his alter ego.
His whiskey-soaked voice is one that we wouldn't typically expect to come from a 22-year-old artist, but his gritty vocals and bluesy aesthetic earned him a place on the BBC Sound of 2012 Longlist. Not bad for a newcomer.
His most recent EP, The Baron, was released in October 2011 and received critical acclaim. With a sound and voice compared to the likes of Johnny Cash and Tom Waits, I think this kid has a bright future and a longstanding place in the music biz.

"This track deals with the feelings of guilt and regret... The character portrayed is the flip side to the one on the lead track of my first E.P "The Preacher"... Whereas that character took faith as his justification, this guy's looking in the mirror you see".
