Why do we like this?

It's clear by now that Jamie xx and John Talabot are firm friends, from collaborating for radio programs to remixing each other's work. Indeed, the Spanish producer has turned in not one, but two remixes of In Colour single "Loud Places," which of course features the vocals of Jamie's xx bandmate Romy.

The first, his "Loud Synths Reconstruction" featured on the Loud Places remixes EP, alongside work from the likes of Herbert, Special Request, and Tessela. His second remix, is an extended ten minute dub version of the track, and is arguably stronger than his first take.

Both Talabot's dubs will be forthcoming on a white label from Young Turks, although no further information is currently available.
