Why do we like this?
Leaving Records out of Los Angeles is quietly and diligently cultivating themselves to be a fine purveyor of the odd and the wonderful. From their psychedelic releases to their more beat-oriented material, everything with a Leaving Records stamp is going to be worth the trip.

When Matthewdavid passed along "Keepyourbusinesstoyourself" from Jitwam, there was a sense of familiarity. I realized I had heard this track before from Kutmah almost a year to the date, out in Belfast, Ireland. Jitwam is an Indian man living in Australia and composing intensely mellow, soulful tunes. This track pivots around a guitar lick that embeds into the brain via the ear. Jitwam's voice is powerful but sparse.

The song is part of a three-track EP that Jitwam will ship to you personally from Australia, but it is also available as a digital release via Leaving. Hop on board!
