Why do we like this?

Given that I'm writing this post from a summer house on an island in Finalnd  (it's Midsummer in Scandanavia), it only seems appropriate that I'd feature a band from neighboring Sweden. And jj just made that easy for me by releasing a new single titled "Fagelsangen."

We haven't heard from the duo for some time now (I believe the last time was 2012's High Summer EP), so the appearance of this song is quite welcome for more than just its convenience.

"Fagelsangen" seems the band steering away from their R&B/hip-hop tendencies toward a more Sigur Ros-esque love ballad. The end result isn't exactly what you're going to want to start your Friday night party with, but I have a feeling that it suits itself quite well to a moment of relaxation. So go ahead and relax. jj's got you covered.
