This track holds such sweet pain. It's the epitome of a happy-sad track. "Die For You" hits me in a place very few see.
Joji has always been someone who fluctuates between polar opposites — going from fast electro into slower more reflective pieces. But through all these tracks they have had one thing consistently: honesty. Joji has made a space for my sad little heart to cry and for my hands to miss the cheek of a loved one. "Die For You" is an empty plead for comfort from a lover already moving on and it hits every soft nerve in my heart and yet I'll still keep coming back.
"Die For You" is what I'd do on repeat just to kiss this track again.
