Why do we like this?

Jordan Rakei is a regular on Indie Shuffle, though it's quite possible this is one of my first times picking up on his music. Better late to the party than never at the party at all!

"Wildfire" was released earlier today via Ninja Tune. It strikes a great balance between classic soul sounds and intricate modern instrumentation. The net effect is smooth on the ear and easy to digest.
