Don't let the 'kid' part of Karma Kid trick you.
Because it might. Karma Kid is Sam Knowles, and at only 19 years old, he's amassing a solid body of original and remixed work with the maturity of a producer beyond his years. And in a relatively short time, Sam has built an equally solid fan base to go with it.
This track, "Bird Of Prey," is out today via the Australian label Future Classic. This is significant because Future Classic is tied to big-time electronic acts -- think Flume, Chet Faker, and Ta-ku. Getting a release with such a solid label shows that the right people are taking notice of this young and talented kid from Derbyshire.
As good as this house-beated and catchy track is, looks like there's more to come. "Birds Of Prey" will eventually form the title track off an upcoming 12" release.
