Why do we like this?

Even though Kid Cudi has been busy teaming up with Dot Da Genius for a truthfully awful rock album (WZRD), he's found some time to keep up his own music. Well, sort of.

"Rain" comes as part of a mixtape that Cudi released not too long ago, featuring tracks from 2000/2001. They're nice because they heavily feature the good old hip-hop, rhyming style that got Cudi going. Seriously...more of this, less of the singing guitar stuff!
