Why do we like this?

Usually the sight of a bearded Brit will inspire images of a Shoreditch open-top cinema with people eating hand-popped organic, sprinkled with gold dust spinach chips. No? Maybe just me then.

The point is though, that despite the stereotype, Krrum is one of the most exciting original songmakers to come out of the UK in recent years.

Sure Jack Garratt has made a name for being first in the melting pot sound of indie/soul/pop/electronica, but with Krrum you have something of a cult addition to the scene.

His offering is more consistent and surprisingly strong considering this is still early days.
