Why do we like this?

People talk about hairs standing up on the backs of their necks with music. Don't get me wrong, I can be very passionate about tracks and I spend 95% of my life with headphones on or talking about music in some way. This is the way I want to spend my life, but I don't want to exaggerate and claim every other song I've heard has "amazing." That's why I'm happy saying I love this track so much I want to shout about it to each and every person who has the capability to hear it.

Melbourne's Life Is Better Blonde has been a big hit in the Triple J Unearthed scene, but with his latest "Follow Me" we hear something that conjures up fiercely strong emotional images and no doubt will fuel a lot of reflective time among listeners out there. Majorly atmospheric, perfectly suited to cinema or end credits, it's only a matter of time before a Sync manager marries this up with some powerful cinematic sequence with huge impact.

Lead by haunting minor piano chords and fleshed out with gorgeously dark electronic production, this has more impact that when Lana Del Rey dropped "Video Games." A future cult classic has been released today.
