Another electro project, you say? Well... yes, but this one's from inner-city Melbourne, and it's really not like all the others.
Being compared to (if you 'squint' your ears a little bit) James Blake isn't a bad introduction, but he has a smooth, R&B style to his vocals and deliberate beat breaks that pull you in. Jamie Lidell is another comparable artist, but nevertheless LIBB has something newer, fresher, and essentially more interesting to bring to the table.
For a 13-day life span on SoundCloud, a four digit play figure isn't bad. Let's stick with this artist whose deeply personal and introvert offerings from late night musings (as he describes it on Facebook) pans out from here.
