Why do we like this?

Lightning Bug's single "Bobby" is buzzing with a pent-up beat and electrified electronics.

This psych-pop track is drenched in non-stop layers of instrumentals, from vibrating bass to reverberated obscure guitar to off-kilter synths. The vocals bring a sweet element to what otherwise could be considered a more of an industrial sound.

The lovely balance that Lightning Bug has achieved here is a beautiful tug of war between psychedelia and pop.
