Why do we like this?

Lion Babe is a duo out of Brooklyn who, up until a few weeks ago, rested their heels on one fantastic single from 2012, "Treat Me Like Fire."  Reemerging from their silence, Lion Babe has teamed up with Chilish Gambino for an awesome R&B / hip-hop tune.

"Jump Hi" is a three-minute track filled with soul and character.  Layering Jillian Hervey's vocals, the melody is a 90s throwback vibe that carries the track forward to Childish's rap overture halfway through.  "Jump Hi" is subtly powerful and deep, a danceable counterbalance to their softer 2012 single. The only thing lacking is a full EP accompanying the track.
