Why do we like this?

As we all know, Superhumanoids are doing quite well. Influenced by The Beach Boys and The Stokes, it is evident that their inspirations don't directly affect their unique sound, which makes perfect sense as their sound is often classified as, well, unclassifiable. Currently in the midst of a European and North American tour stretching until April 2013, Superhumanoids are being accompanied by indie-rock darlings Local Natives.

This remix of Local Native's "Shapeshifter" is sheer proof that the two groups work well when musically combined, and therefore should have no problem balancing each other out whilst sharing the stage on tour.

Superhumanoids are composed of Cameron Parkins, Max St. John and Sarah Chernoff, who blend together, as SSENCE.com puts it: "indie-style vocals, ethereal samples and experimental yet accessible dream pop style," while Local Natives are an L.A.-based indie-rock group releasing their much anticipated sophomore album titled Hummingbird on January 29, 2013.
