Why do we like this?

Lomeli? More like Loml. Last July, I had the pleasure of featuring "Human Breach," the leading single off of Lomeli's debut album, I Ask Nothing of You. Well browsers of Indie Shuffle, I do have something to ask of you. I ask you to close your eyes and throw this track on. What do you see? I see sunshine and smiley faces, maybe a few palm trees. Definitely don't see any fedoras.

"Surface, Dogma ii" brings the same energy that I mentioned in the review linked above, and that is the 2011, golden era of psych-indie vibes. Similar to Blackbird Blackbird and Work Drugs; euphoric and transcending reality. The title of this release may allude to surface level principles that aren't backed by something necessarily true? That is a puzzle that only you can solve.

Turn up the volume and enjoy this release, or I'm finna cry.
