I've been having an amazing week while the rest of the world keeps yapping about Mercury retrograding and shit. Even on the dreary rainy days, here in NYC, that we've just had, things have been great for me, so it make sense that I would pick this summertime jam to represent how my soul is currently feeling.
The song features a few cool things. Of course, the whistle in the beginning is the first thing that catches your ears and makes you instantly gravitate its way. But then we encounter a nicely-mixed saxophone that becomes the star of the show. Of course, the lyrics and vocal delivery are great, so the overall song is simply: really good.
I don't know how your week is going, or where you are reading this from, but I can guarantee that after you listen, you will feel just fine, and maybe even: REALLY fucking gooood.
