Why do we like this?

Do you love M83's 2011 hit "Midnight City" but ever wish it was sped up, super-charged, and mostly sans lyrics? Well, your wish has been answered by Eric Prydz's newest take on the single.

Starting out the year with another M83 remix seems more than approp. The album that just wouldn't quit last year just won't... well, quit. Prydz's take is so intense it may just feel like an aneurysm is about to come on, but I still like it. Let's say this is technoed-up, and ready for any semi-decent dance floor.

Picking out the flashiest aspects of the amazingly interpretable song, Prydz has turned the BPM up and up making a recognizable yet fresh perspective. Word to the wise: do not induce a neck cramp in mid-head bob, since that is slightly more than foreseeable.
