Why do we like this?

The Oakland-based indie pop band, Magic Fight, which consists of Alex Haager, Alex Pinto, Hernando Buitrago and Jeff Gist, began their musical journey during the summer of 2012. For a young band, Magic Fight has gained endorsements by notable musical platforms in the Bay Area. Their previous single, "Fangs," was featured on SF Deli, The Bay Guardian, The Bay Bridged, and Bagel Radio.

I am thrilled to premiere their single "LEGS" off of their seven-track debut album WOODEN SWORDS AND STOLEN ECHOES. Magic Fight's album release show is on April 16, 2013 at El Rio in San Francisco with There's Talk and Mosaics. On May 30, 2013, they will be playing at Amnesia in SF with Kids on a Crime Spree and Teenage Sweater -- not bad for the freshman quartet.

Magic Fight was once a foreign sound to my ears, but their elvish melody threaded with the chant-like repetition of the sole word "LEGS" will leave you frolicsome and satisfied, wanting to lose your virginity to the rest of their musical inventory.
